Easy three this morning. I was pretty far behind the main group, but they were going fast and I've got my easy morning pace and I just stuck with it! Felt really good. I could not fall asleep last night for some reason, but I don't feel too tired today..yet!

6 this afternoon on a Webb Hill Extension, plus a lap around the school to hit the full 6.  Ran with Coach and shared Special Ed stories, it's always easier to keep a good pace when you're a little distracted! 7:53/mile. Weights after.

No practice this morning, loved the extra rest!

Total of 7 this afternoon: 2 mile warm up, 3 thousands plus a 200 recovery, and a 3 mile cool down (supposed to be 2, but I wanted to hit 7 for the day since that's the mileage on the website!)  Hit the thousands at 3:57, 3:56, and 3:56. Coach had me shooting for 4:17, so I'm pretty dang proud of myself. He told me it looks like I might be "flirting" with a 5:40 5:45 mile time...I hope he's right!! But really, as long as it's under 5:52 so I qualify for BYU, I don't care too much, my focus is the 3200 m, I need to remember that!

Easy three with Darian this morning. Spectrum and back. I'm a little sore which surprises me because yesterday didn't feel too hard!

Seven out along the strip today.  Felt pretty good, but started to die off during the last two miles. I realized after the run that I didn't eat a 4th Period snack like usual, so maybe that explains it. 8:40/mile. Ran the first two with a few of the girls, then they turned around and Gianna stuck with me for another mile or so. Finished it off on my own. Weights after.

No practice this morning, but me and my husband were finally able to do our thing this morning since our place is FINALLY open again after being closed for cleaning for two weeks.

Speed work this afternoon. Two mile warm up, 2x1 mile repeats, 4x200m repeats with 200m recovery, one mile cool down. Hit the first mile at 6:41 and the second at 6:37. The 200s were 40, 40, 41, 38. Calves were pretty sore, but I'll take care of it.

Easy 3 in the morning.

1 mile warm up, then 3 mile "Kenyan Run" where we ran in a straight line and tried to relax and focus on form.  I quite enjoyed this! It was hard to really meditate with Darian right in front of me, but I did my best!

6 miles toward Little Valley and back.  Ran without my Garmin so I could just try to relax and enjoy the run.  I think this is a good thing for me to do on Saturdays so I don't burn out too easily!  After the run, I had a fun-filled day of french toast, the Temple, and Lava Rock Sledding.  Then, a movie night with Kenzie. I love weekends!
